Michael Hanton

 

Michael has participated in a number of matters in the Superior Court of Justice ranging from motions to judge-alone trials. In November 2017, Michael sat as second chair to plaintiff counsel in the trial of a complex slip and fall case that has implications for municipalities throughout the province.

Michael graduated from the University of Exeter Law School in 2017. While at law school, he volunteered with the Personal Support Unit at the Exeter Combined Court Centre and assisted unrepresented parties navigate the judicial system. Michael also co-founded and sat on the inaugural committee of the university’s Canadian Law Society.
